Profile resolution

OreoDeck resolves the most specific profile before it falls back to a global default.

Priority order

  1. Explicit -P / --profile
  2. Nearest .oreodeck/config.json project setting
  3. Profile pinned to the current terminal tab
  4. Global active profile

How this behaves

A project can be pinned to work while ord run -P personal deliberately launches personal once. If there is no project pin, two terminal tabs can use different accounts through tab pins without changing each other.

ord use --tab personal
ord run -P work
